With the pandemic still raging, and the mail delivery system backed up, it might be a good idea to stay home this Valentine’s Day and make your own gifts. You don’t want to be caught waiting on the mail truck for your V-Day present to arrive on the big day. Here are five DIY Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas so you can make the most of this stay-at-home holiday. Have fun!

Printable Wine Labels

Buy your favorite bottle of wine and apply a DIY label right on top. I’ve created four label designs using Avery template #22826 for matte white arched labels. You can download the label PDF for free by clicking here. Print them on the Avery labels using a color laser printer, and apply to the bottle. It’s a cute way to personalize your gift.

Baked Goods

They say the way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach. Who can resist a homemade baked treat. Try my recipe for chocolate brownies baked in a heart-shaped mold. You can find this heart-shaped silicone baking mold on Amazon by clicking here.

Self-Care Kit

Find a pretty box at the dollar store or stationary store and fill it with self-care essentials. Some ideas are lip balm, face masks, nail polish, fancy soaps, chocolates, and a love note. Men like self-care kits too. Replace the nail polish with a shaving balm for him.

Mason Jar Bouquets

Mason jars are so versatile. You can buy them at the supermarket. While you’re there, pick up some fresh flowers and arrange a bouquet in the jar. Tie a red or pink ribbon around the outside and you have a sweet V-Day bouquet.

Sugar Scrub

Sugar scrub is easy to make and beneficial to winter dry skin. Make your own sugar scrub by combining 1/2 cup room-temperature coconut oil with 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Lavender or peppermint work well. Or try a combination of lavender and sweet orange. Stir to combine, and store in a glass jar. Voila, you have a beautiful sugar scrub.

Of course, any of these DIY Valentine’s Day gift ideas are a great way to treat yourself as well. Happy Valentine’s Day, my lovelies!
