About Donna DeRosa

Hello!

I am Donna

My mission is to inspire women to live life on their own terms, rekindle their dreams, be as healthy as possible, and look damn good doing it.

I’m the author of two cookbooks, The Big Book of Mediterranean Diet Cooking and Flexitarian Cookbook for Beginners.

In my previous careers I’ve been an automotive journalist, a managing editor, and an actress.

I spent many years working long hours and excelling at my career, only to realize that I was neglecting other areas of my life, like my relationships and my health. I gained weight, developed high blood pressure, and finally hit the wall and was completely burnt out.

With the help of my doctor, I went on a journey to discover better health and found the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle, and believe that it literally saved my life. I learned to slow down, to enjoy healthy cooking, and to live life with passion and a sense of play.

I’m now in my 50s and feel healthier, more vibrant, and younger than ever.

I can help you do the same if you’re willing to open your mind to new possibilities.
