I wrote a cookbook!!!
I’m very excited to tell you about my latest project, a huge Mediterranean diet cookbook. It contains 200 tasty recipes all written and tested by me. There are also chapters explaining the origins and health benefits of a Mediterranean diet, how to shop and stock your kitchen and pantry, and three 2-week meal plans. The meal plans are designed for weight loss, heart heath, and overall wellness.
This isn’t just a cookbook, but also delves into the lifestyle associated with a Mediterranean diet. It’s all about slowing down, savoring your food, and experiencing life to the fullest
If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I’ve been on my own personal journey with the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle. I’ve shared recipes with you, discussed the many aspects of the overall lifestyle, which I like to call Living La Dolce Vita, and I even started a separate food blog just for Mediterranean diet recipes. And, of course, there is my YouTube channel.
All of these content streams have come together in The Big Book of Mediterranean Diet Cooking.
Following a Mediterranean diet is endlessly interesting because there is so much variety in what you can eat. The diet consists mostly of vegetables, healthy fats, whole grains, plant-based proteins, and a little red wine. This is room for a little indulgence in moderation. This diet can aid in the prevention of heart disease, stroke, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and cancer.
