Thank you: two little words that can mean so much.
Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life we forget to say thank you to the people closest to us. We start to take their presence for granted.
Is there someone who has done you a favor recently, or listened to you when you needed to vent, or gave you advice whether you knew you needed it or not? Show them your appreciation.
Your dolce vita action item for this week: Buy some beautiful stationery or a pretty card and write someone a thank-you note.
Think of how much it will mean to them.
The note can even be to you if you’ve been particularly sweet to yourself lately.
Let me know who you decide to send it to and why. Post a picture on my Facebook page and use hashtag #DolceVita so I’m sure to see it.
If you need some ideas, try Papyrus or Crane or your local gift shop.
Grazie, Gracias, Merci, Danke, Thank you for reading.
Such a great idea! It’s a simple thing to do and so few people take the time to actually write a note anymore. Lucky for me, I have pretty stationary at home. Now to decide who to thank…
This is a great reminder of something we need to do all the time! It’s so easy to take people for granted, be they customers, friends, or family.
