UPDATE: This product has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
Occasionally, I like to share with you a product I’ve been loving. I’ve been using Love Home and Planet Concentrated Laundry Detergent for several months, and now I’m ready to let you know my test results.
I’ve been a big fan of the Love Beauty and Planet shampoos, and have previously written a review of them. You can access that review here.
I found it interesting that the company has branched out into home products as well as personal care. The Rose Petal and Murumuru laundry detergent intrigued me. It’s unique from most other laundry detergent scents.
Just like the Murumuru Butter & Rose shampoo, this laundry detergent has a subtle rose scent but with a creamier touch. It’s not an overpowering rose scent.
The Love Home and Planet laundry detergent is highly concentrated. You only need to use a tiny amount for each large laundry load. The instructions are to start the washer, add the detergent after there is some water in the tub, and then add your clothes.
I find that the detergent gently cleans my clothes without fading the colors, and leaves them with a subtle pretty scent. If you use too much detergent, you’ll know because you’ll be left with a much stronger scent on your clothes. You really only need to use a tiny amount.
According to the company, the formulation is made with 94% plant-based cleaners. The product is certified vegan and cruelty-free by PETA. The bottles are made with 100% recycled plastic and are recyclable. The labels on the packaging are a beautiful floral print.
I ordered this product from Amazon and it came with two 40-ounce jugs of detergent. The label says 40 ounces should last for 53 loads of laundry. It took me four months to get through the first bottle at an average of 3-4 loads per week.
This concentrated laundry detergent also comes in Lavender & Argan Oil scent, which I have yet to try. But it’s next on my list.
There are also matching dryer sheets, which I will be trying out this winter.
Have you tried any of the Love Home and Planet products in your home? What is your opinion?
