black ballerina espadrilles

Now that the weather is finally warmer — in fact it’s already reached 90 degrees here this week — I’ve been thinking about my summer style. This year I want to up my style game a notch. Just because I’m working from home and not going to an office doesn’t mean I can be a frump.

A couple of years ago I enlisted a stylist to help me figure things out. I took the Focus on Style C’est Chic Crash Course by Sharon Haver. It taught me a lot about how to develop my own personal style, especially as I was making a career shift and getting a little bit older. It was lots of fun, and Sharon is great.

A couple of days ago I posted in our private forum and asked for advice on where to buy espadrilles because I was looking for some new summer shoes. Sharon told me about EspadrilleStore.com that makes handmade shoes.

I wanted to share this find with you in case you too love espadrilles for summer. I have no affiliation with this company. I just got some really good deals so I wanted to let you know about it.

I immediately went to the clearance page and found coral-colored flats for only $19.90. I just bought a new coral-colored top for summer and these will go very nicely with it. I also picked up black ballerina lace-ups because I love all things ballerina. And last but not least, because I have to do things in threes, I picked up a pair of striped wedges. The non-clearance items were 25% off. Use discount code SPAIN25 at checkout. It says it’s for one day only, but they’ve extended it.

Last week I bought some summer cotton dresses and I have my eye on a straw hat for my walks in the park.

What are your favorite summer accessories?
