Do you need a change but are wondering how to make it happen? Is your business not performing as you would like, but you’re unsure what to do next? Are you unclear of your direction in life?
Take the next step.
It’s that simple.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just take the next step. Focus on that one thing you really love doing. Take one small step closer to your goal. Let it lead you to the next step, and then the next. Then maybe you can bring in other influences.
When I first decided to study life coaching, I found a school that would teach me the basics of how to get accredited. I practiced general life coaching. Then as I found my own style and voice, I started adding in my passion for all things Italian. I started exploring the concept of la dolce vita and what it means to me. Then I started adding in my love of cooking and Mediterranean eating. I have a background in writing and performing, and they led me to my next steps of blogging and writing a book.
I didn’t plan it that way. A few years ago I didn’t know I’d be a life coach. I didn’t know what life coaching was all about. I explored. I hired a coach to see what it was like. I loved it and knew I wanted more. I took one small step in the direction of what I love. Each step led to the next, and then to the next.
That’s why it’s so important to take a step in the direction that feels good for you. It will light up the path before you. You’ll know what to do because you’ll be following what feels good.
Do something that inspires you, that lights you up. The next step will show itself to you. Show up fully in the moment, look at the possibilities, explore your passions with determination. You don’t have to strategize or have it all planned out. Allow yourself to be inspired. The answers will come as you move forward.
All of your life’s experiences and influences will lead the way. You’ll start getting a clearer picture. Continue to do what you love and feels good. Give it your all and doors will open that you didn’t even know were there.
Take the next step. Take it now. See where it leads.
Donna thanks for this~ I am trying to put one foot forward and taking that next step. Very unsure where it will lead but I am on my way. Thanks for sharing!
Each step makes the goal clearer. Good luck!
